Pluvia’s 4-stage reverse osmosis system removes up to 99.9% of chlorine, lead, mercury, fluoride, arsenic, nitrates, bacteria, viruses, microplastics, and pharmaceutical residues. Every drop is NSF/ANSI 58 certified. You’re not filtering water — you’re purifying it.

Far less than you’d expect. Pluvia operates at a 2:1 pure-to-waste ratio — for every 2 litres of purified water, 1 litre is flushed. Most RO systems waste 3–4 litres per 1 litre purified. That’s up to 75% less waste than the industry standard.

Pluvia uses two filters, CAC+ and ROC. The CAC+ filter is normally replaced about every 6 months, and the CAC+ and ROC filters together about every 12 months. Actual filter life depends on your water quality and usage, and the built-in LED display tracks it in real time — no guesswork. Pay-as-you-go, the CAC+ costs £50 and the ROC £100. You can fit them yourself at no extra charge, or our engineer can fit them for our £80 call-out charge. With active Smart Service, your scheduled filter replacements are included and we fit them for you, with no call-out charge.

Yes, once the appliance is registered to you. We sell filters only for an appliance registered to the buyer, so ask the registered owner to confirm the transfer to us. If they can’t be reached or dispute it, we may ask you for other evidence, such as proof of purchase. We’ll then move the serial number to your account, and we may ask you for the serial number and your contact details. Filters are for use on your own registered appliance and can’t be bought for resale. If Smart Service on the appliance is still active, you can carry it on as the new owner, including any remaining free first year and warranty. If it has been cancelled, or we ended it because of the previous owner’s non-payment or for a serious reason, you can re-enrol: that means an £80 inspection fee and new CAC+ and ROC filters at pay-as-you-go prices, then the monthly payments for a new paid term. If we ended it without any fault on the previous owner’s part and agree to you enrolling, there’s no £80 fee and no pay-as-you-go charge for the filters.

Pluvia dispenses instant hot water up to 95°C and chilled water down to 5°C — on demand. No kettle, no fridge, no waiting. The heating element only activates when you dispense, so there’s no standby energy waste. Cooling uses electric chip technology instead of a compressor — whisper-quiet and more efficient.

Around 0.5 kWh per day with typical use — roughly 8p. The heating element only draws power when you dispense hot water. The cooling system runs on electric chip technology, which uses a fraction of the energy of compressor-based coolers. Quieter, too.

Know where the water isolation valve serving your Pluvia is — if you’re not sure how to isolate it safely, contact us and we’ll guide you. If you see or suspect a leak, and it’s safe to do so: stop using Pluvia, close the isolation valve, switch it off and unplug it, take reasonable steps to stop the water spreading, then email support@monsowater.com with the details. Never touch plugs, sockets or electrical equipment while standing in water. If a leak can’t be controlled, isolate your household water supply or call an emergency plumber rather than waiting for us. We treat leak reports as a priority and reply as soon as we can, though we can’t promise a particular response time. Going away for more than 72 hours? We recommend closing Pluvia’s water valve, switching it off and unplugging it before you leave.

Every new Pluvia comes with a 12-month Monso warranty from the day it’s installed, provided through the first year of Smart Service included with your appliance. It covers any fault that needs repair, with no charge for parts, labour or call-out. It doesn’t cover faults caused by things like accidental damage, dropping or impact, misuse, not following the instructions, an unsuitable water or electrical supply, modification or repair by someone else, external plumbing problems, or filters and parts that aren’t genuine. After the 12 months, repairs are covered only while you have an active paid Smart Service term. Without one, our engineer call-out charge is £80. We’ll show you that and any other charge before you book, and quote any repair before we start, unless the law gives you a free repair. The warranty is in addition to your legal rights. Every new Pluvia comes with our 30-day money-back guarantee, starting on the day it’s installed. If you decide it’s not for you, tell us within those 30 days by emailing support@monsowater.com. We’ll disconnect and collect it free of charge and leave your plumbing safe and watertight (we can’t repair holes made for the installation, but we’ll cover them with silicone colour-matched to your worktop). If it has had normal use and comes back with the parts and accessories supplied, we refund what you paid for the appliance and any installation charge within 14 days of collecting it. The guarantee covers new Pluvia appliances only, not filters, accessories or paid Smart Service terms. It’s in addition to your legal rights, including your right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Full details are in section 13 of our Terms of Service.

Smart Service is our maintenance and support service for your Pluvia, and your first 12 months are free when you buy one. While it’s active, it includes your scheduled filter replacements, fitted by us; covered repairs, with no charge for parts, labour or call-out (faults caused by things like accidental damage or misuse aren’t covered); free re-installation when you move home within our service area; a temporary replacement unit during a repair or maintenance; and priority support. Priority support means that when two customers need the same kind of help at the same time, we help the Smart Service customer first — it isn’t a guaranteed response time. Most purifier owners face at least one repair, maintenance issue, or move within 3 years. After your free year, you can continue with an optional paid 12-month term for £25/month.

Your included year ends on its own after 12 months, and we never charge you or renew anything unless you’ve agreed to continue. At least 30 days before it ends, we’ll remind you in writing what a paid term costs and how to continue. If you chose to continue when you ordered, you can still cancel free of charge before the first payment is taken. A paid term lasts 12 months, starts straight after your free year and costs £25/month for Pluvia. It includes the CAC+ and ROC filter change at about 12 months, because that change starts your next year. If you don’t continue, Smart Service ends, along with that filter change, covered repairs and the other Smart Service benefits, though you can still buy filters pay-as-you-go. You can change your mind within 30 days and rejoin without the £80 inspection fee, as long as the conditions in our Terms are met. After that, rejoining means an £80 inspection fee and new CAC+ and ROC filters at pay-as-you-go prices, then your monthly payments.

Email support@monsowater.com and we’ll confirm in writing. You can tell us at any time that you don’t want your paid term to renew: your cover continues to the end of the current term, and there’s no renewal charge. In the first 30 days of a paid term you can end it straight away. You get a full refund if we haven’t yet supplied any scheduled filters in that term, or you pay the pay-as-you-go price of those we have. At any time, you can also end a term early on 30 days’ notice, paying the greater of your instalments up to the end date and the pay-as-you-go price of the scheduled filters already supplied. Either way, you never pay more than the price of the term, and there’s no cancellation fee. These are in addition to your legal cancellation rights.
