Over-Temperature Warning
What is H3?
The internal water temperature has exceeded 106°C, which is above the normal operating range.
Why does this happen?
This warning indicates the heating system is producing water hotter than intended. It can be caused by a thermostat calibration issue, a failing temperature sensor, or scale build-up on the heating element reducing heat dissipation. The system automatically limits heating to protect itself.
What should I do?
Cold water dispensing continues to work normally. The heating system automatically pauses and will resume once the internal temperature drops 30°C below the inlet water temperature. If this warning appears frequently, it may indicate a scaling issue or sensor fault — contact support for inspection.
Repairs are free while your Pluvia has its 12-month warranty or an active Smart Service, unless the fault was caused by something the cover excludes, such as accidental damage or misuse. In that case we'll give you the price before we start. Without an active Smart Service, our engineer call-out charge is £80. None of this affects your legal rights.
